The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions.
Family Promise of Monroe County
Family Promise is committed to helping low-income families nationwide to achieve lasting independence. We do this by helping communities mobilize to provide safe shelter, meals, and support services for homeless families and through programs designed to redress the underlying causes of homelessness
Pocono Services for Families & Children
Pocono Services for Families and Children provides supportive services for young children and their families in Monroe County to promote success in school and life. Pocono Services for Families and Children (PSFC), a non- profit agency, has been providing comprehensive supportive services for our community's most vulnerable young children and their families for 45 years.
Youth Infusion

Eastburg Community Alliance
ECA works closely in support of other area non-profits and has forged meaningful and supportive partnerships with various community based organizations. ECA recognizes the interdependent and symbiotic role we all play in building a better community and for this, ECA actively assists other non-profit organizations to ensure the success of their fund raising efforts and roles in providing support services as well as educational, artistic and cultural resources.
Monroe County Habitat for Humanity
They are a non-profit ecumencial Christian housing ministry who work in partnership with people, from all walks of life to build or rehab homes with families. They then sell those homes to them for a no-interest mortgage.
Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority
The Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority is responsible for the long-term management of municipal waste in Monroe County. We incorporate an integrated solid waste management system that uses many different concepts in waste management. Waste reduction and minimization practices, waste reuse or remanufacturing, recycling, composting and ultimately proper disposal are some of the tools used to manage the municipal waste system.
The Pocono's Internet Broadcasting Company (PIBCO)
We are the Poconos Community Internet radio station. Our company is designed to help support and promote our community, local musicians and artists, and our locally owned small businesses, and give our community a locally owned broadcast outlet that it has been missing for many years, and provide our community with a voice on the Internet, on the fastest growing broadcasting medium; Internet radio.

The Monroe County Historical Association is a non-profit community organization dedicated to preserving the history of our corner of northeastern Pennsylvania. The mission of the Monroe County Historical Association is to promote, protect and preserve the rich history of Monroe County. Gangs "R" Real
This website is dedicated to the gang problem that exists in Monroe County, PA. It showcases ways parents and youth in our area can recognize gang activities, and how to avoid getting swept up in them. A series of multimedia presentations give concrete examples of gang activities, and what you can do to help reduce them in your area of the county.
